Backcountry Airstrips

 Come and learn about two of Michigan’s newest public access backcountry airstrips; North Fox Island & the Two Hearted River (UP) airstrips.

Brad Frederick, of the Recreational Aviation Foundation (RAF), will provide an overview of the development of the North Fox Island airstrip and the plans for the development of the Two Hearted airstrip this Spring. Brad will also share pictures of these beautiful areas as well as provide tips to help you plan for your adventure to visit these spectacular flying destinations.
